Sunday Photography: Chinatown

This week has been absolutely crazy, so I only had time for a quick trip into Chinatown after work to take a few photos. I’ve decided that it’s definitely one of my favorite little corners of Boston, though I have yet to find my go-to restaurant.

Chinatown in NYC had some of my favorite places in the city as well. I had a few restaurants that I was a regular at, specifically the ramen, korean bbq and dim sum places around the corner from my retail job freshman year. I didn’t stick around in the job, but I certainly kept coming back for the food, and eventually learned how to cook some of it myself.

I’m in the process of trying all of the restaurants in Boston’s chinatown, so hopefully I’ll find some authentic ones soon!

As for the photos, I can already hear my old photography professor yelling at me that they are underexposed. I’ve been really liking the look of darker photos recently, so I’m trying it out. Perhaps I’m just in a darker mood with the coming winter.
