I love blogs, hence why I’ve stuck with my own for so long. I appreciate these ladies and gents for writing their feelings out there on the big bad interwebs every day. They brighten my day (hello procrastination!) and can be thoughtful, funny and informative. And every time I’ve met one of them in real life they are even more delightful than I imagine.
I wanted to join in on the #bloghug and share some of my favorite bloggers that maybe you haven’t heard of. A big thank you to Holly of decor8 for such a great idea! So let’s have a round of introductions!
An Ode to the Recovering Hopeless Romantics
While Isidora is now onto bigger and better things, this was a fascinating experiment of watching 143 romantic movies and discussing the theme of love in all of its forms. At the moment she’s at DailyMuses, which is an equally interesting experiment in social sharing.
A great blog on simplicity, fashion and musings on life in general. I love how down to earth Kali is and she shares some gems of wisdom when it comes to living life simply and enjoying it to the fullest.
I love Markus for his inspirational prose, beautiful photos and thoughtfulness that shows up every day in my feed. He also publishes a zine as well, which is on my list of books/zines/music that I need to checkout. I’m also assuming that he lives in Brooklyn (the name gave me the hint) so I’m working up the nerve to ask him to meet up sometime.
This girl looks like she read the Official Preppy Handbook cover to cover and then memorized it, and I love it. As always, I’m sure it’s just one facet of her life, but Sarah always looks nothing short of preppy perfect and seems to live in a dreamworld of hunting lodges, boating trips, and ivy league soirees. There’s not much writing, just lots and lots of beautiful photos.
I love reading about Holly’s experiences with Crossfit and the Whole 30 Challenge. She is a seriously inspiring woman and is driving me to get my own butt into gear. The best part is that she’s easy to relate to and makes you want to be her best friend, but is still a wealth of knowledge about all things diet and fitness.
Such a beautiful photo blog. I’m not sure who runs Temp Files, but they have an exquisite eye and are probably French. I just want to be able to jump into every photo and live there.
Hannah dishes up some serious fashion with a side of attitude. I feel like I have to mention her since we went to the same school (Fordham U. represent!) but also her blog is just pretty awesome. She is much more trend-based than I ever will be, but you have to appreciate a girl that’s out there just doing her own thing.
This is basically the mecca for anyone looking to get started with minimalism or for those of us looking for a daily dose of inspiration. Leo is amazing and I’m anxiously waiting for him to take a tour through NYC so I can hear one of his talks.
Elle and Tash manage to find the most drool-worthy images on the web to post daily. Such a great blog for some serious fashion eye candy.
And last but not least, I had the pleasure of writing for these two lovely ladies in the past and I follow them now for great fashion and shopping content. Be sure to check them out!
